The Academy

A specialist home for the sciences of recitation

Imam Abi Amro Al Dani Academy is devoted to the accurate recitation, understanding and preservation of the Qur'an, through qualified teaching and the established traditions of scholarly transmission.

Our classes are taught online by female teachers based in Saudi Arabia, while the academy itself is registered in the United Kingdom. Every sister recites directly to her teacher, and every recitation is heard and corrected.

Umm Abdul Qadir is an experienced female Qur'an teacher based in Saudi Arabia, with over a decade of teaching and multiple Ijāzāt in Qur'anic recitation. Her teaching is rooted in the traditional values of precision, attentive listening and direct transmission from teacher to student. She is devoted to helping sisters recite with confidence and accuracy, and to nurturing a deeper love for the sciences of the Qur'an.
