About us

An academy devoted to the Qur'an and its recitation

Registered in the United Kingdom, taught by female teachers based in Saudi Arabia, and dedicated to sisters seeking precision in recitation.

Our story

The academy was established to offer sisters a dedicated, scholarly setting for the study of Qur'anic recitation — one that honours the traditional way the Qur'an has always been learned, while making it accessible online. Further details of our history will be shared once confirmed.

Vision

A generation of sisters who recite the Book of Allah with precision, understand the sciences that preserve it, and carry it faithfully to others.

Mission

To teach Tajwīd and the Qirāʾāt through qualified female teachers, structured progression and attentive correction, in keeping with the established traditions of scholarly transmission.

Educational philosophy

We believe recitation is learned by the ear before the eye. Each sister progresses at the pace of her mastery, not the calendar; every stage builds on a sound foundation.

Our approach to transmission

Learning takes place by reciting directly to the teacher (ʿarḍ) and listening to her (samāʿ). An Ijāzah, where awarded, is given solely at the teacher's discretion, after complete and precise recitation.
